Sunday Nse Essiet-Udoh is a professional member of Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), an associate member of the Institute of Strategic Member, Nigeria (ISMN) as well as a graduate member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He is also a Premier Writer (business strategy) at Helium.Com and a member of Change Management Learning Centre, Prosci Institute, U.S.A. (online).
He holds a master of science (M.Sc) degree in Strategic Management and a bachelor’s (B.Sc) in Brewing Science. He is a Certified Senior Strategic Management Professional (CSSMP) – certified by Strategic Business School, Lagos, Nigeria. He equally holds the following professional management qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management (PGDSM) from Strategic Management Centre, Lagos, Nigeria and a Proficiency Certificate in Management (PCM) from Nigerian Institute of Management.
He is an alumnus of the following academic and professional institutions: European-American University, Dominica (M.Sc), University of Uyo, Nigeria (B.Sc), Strategic Business School, Lagos, Nigeria (CSSMP), Strategic Management Centre, Lagos, Nigeria (PGDSM), and Nigerian Institute of Management (PCM).
He has worked with ValueFronteira Limited as a Research Assistant/Analyst, FirstCall Group as a Financial Advisor/marketer and Stedson Nigeria Limited where he left as a Business Manager to join Strategic Business School as an Assistant Strategic Management Lecturer, to pursue his love for knowledge acquisition, impartation and research.
He has authored many yet-to-be published business researches. As a trainer, he receives calls for paper presentations at workshops and trainings.
He is presently a full-time Lecturer/Business Development Manager at Stratford Academy, Lagos, Nigeria, a part-time lecturer at Strategic Business School (ongoing: part-time), and a Business Development Consultant to Stedson Nigeria Limited.
He maintains a quiet disposition, but is very thorough and high profiled.
Achievements While at University of Uyo, Nigeria.
- I served as the Class Representative from my Second Year in the University to the Penultimate because of my inauguration as the Executive President of my Departmental Association, ABRESTS. I had also held similar position of responsibility throughout my primary and Secondary School Days.
- I served as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief on The Brewers' Bulletin - 2000/2001 Academic Session.
- I served as a member of the editorial board of an independent publication on campus - FOOTPRINTS PUBLICATION - 2001/2002 Academic Session.
- I served as a member of the Awards/Dinner Night Committe of the Association of Brewing Science and Technology Students (ABRESTS) - 2001/2002 Academic Session.
- I served as the Secretary General of the Association of Brewing Science and Technology Students, University of uyo - 2001/2002 Academic Session.
- I served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Brewers' Bulletin - 2002/2003 Academic Session.
- I became The Last Executive PRESIDENT, Association of Brewing Science and Technology and the First interim President, Nigerian Association of Food Science and Technology Students (NAFSTS), University of Uyo Chapter - 2003/2004 Academic Session.
- I presided over the General Congress of the above-named association that led to the ADOPTION of the Motion for the Change-in-name From Association of Brewing Science and Technology Students (ABRESTS) to Nigerian Association of Food Science and Technology Students (NAFSTS) University of Uyo and thus became the First interim President of the new Association due the change-in-name of the Department approved by the Nigeria University Commission and the University authorities from Department of Brewing Science and Technology to Food Science and Technology - February, 2005.
- I handed-over successfully to Comrade Eta Enang and made history as the first Executive President to declare his tenure's Statement of Accounts thus leaving behind a legacy of transparency in leadership and followership - March, 2005.
- I served as the Chairman, ABRESTS Awards/Dinner Night Committee - 2004.
- By virtue of being a Departmental President, I became an active member, Committee of Departmental Presidents (CDP), a Consultative Forum, Faculty of Science, University of Uyo - 2004.
- During my tenure, I successfully motivated my Association's Football Team to play in the Finals of Faculty of Science Games 2004. We were defeated by Chemistry Department as Vincent Enyeama, former Enyimba Int'l Football Club and presently Iwuanyanwu Nationale Football Club's GoalKeeper and Nigeria's Goaltender assisted in the first goal and scored the second. He is a Student of the Department of Chemistry, University of Uyo - 2004.
- I provided my students with academic materials to enhance their studies.
- I tried within my abilities to enhance cordial students-lecturers relationship while also promoting the Ideals of the CONSTITUTION of ABRESTS which led to the respect accorded my students in the Faculty of Science.
- I also promoted Good Corporate relationship with my students working with companies such as Guinness Nigeria PLC, Champion Breweries Plc, Consolidated Breweries PLC, besides others and gave a Gold Award to Consolidated Breweries PLC and Intense Solutions for Sponsorship of our Awards/Dinner Night - September, 2004.
- I equally provided my students with beautifully conceptualized plastic Identification Cards.
- I , also, provided my Association with their first ever website.
